Connecting Tirukural With AI

Can intelligence be inferred based on ancient wisdom?

This morning, I decided it’s time to get my hands dirty with AI again. I’ve dabbled in NLP and machine learning before, but never ventured deep into the world of deep learning. And then it struck me — what if I could bring the Tirukkural into this space? That ancient wisdom feels like the perfect mirror to test and reflect through an AI lens.

So here begins a new experiment: NLP meets Tiruvalluvar. My goal is simple — to fine-tune models that don’t just process language, but understand fragments of virtue and reasoning encoded in those timeless verses.

Inspired by the visual nature of Obsidian’s mind maps, I also hope to create a graph of ideas — a map where each couplet connects meaning, morality, and machine interpretation.
